Communicating and Mastering Lab Artistry

Overview
Participant Objectives / Program Features

Prerequisites: Facially Generated Treatment Planning and Occlusion in Clinical Practice workshops

Have you ever been disappointed by what came back from the lab, even when you were sure you sent them all they needed? Have you ever wished you could change the contact, edge or contour of a porcelain restoration? Would the ability to stain and glaze in your office improve your results?

Discussion and exercises in observation and communication will improve the dentist-lab connection, illustrate materials differences, and give participants the skills to alter ceramic restorations in the office. Using pre-fabricated ceramic restorations and cores, participants will cut back and add incisal translucency and characterizations, alter contacts and contour, repair fractures, and stain, glaze and fire the restorations.
